2021 - Photographs a story for National Geographic Magazine titled La Familia. Will be published in 2023. Author Luis Alberto Urrea collaborates on project.

2020 Completes two short films for Channel 4 in England about Jedidiah Brown in Chicago and A Voice in the Woods about the attempted lynching of Black activist Vauhxx Booker in Bloomington, Indiana.

2019 Travels to Edinburgh, Scotland to give TED TALK Family, Hope and Resilience on the migrant trail. More than 2,000,000 views. Named a National Geographic Explorer.

2018 Receives Economic Hardship Reporting Fellowship for La Familia Project. Teaches NIKON/NOOR Masterclass in Stockholm, Sweden.

2017 Starts production on The Advocate - a short feature length film about Black activist Jedidiah Brown. Documents the victims and their families of Chicago Police Department Detective Ernesto Guevara for Buzzfeed Magazine. Produces 12 screen experimental film Cenotaph 12 which is featured at multiple international film and photography festivals.

2016 Photographs entire Chicago Bears Football Season for ESPN THE MAGAZINE - work is featured on national television.

2014 Works extensively with a group of youth in Escondido, California over two summers to produce a trans-media project Escondido en Escondido i
